I'm certain that I'm not the only one who has experienced the
frustration of explaining to a non-technical user how to un-mute the
headphone and/or capture channel via alsamixer (from within a terminal)
when setting up VoIP applications. The capture channel was the most
recent culprit (muted) when I helped a user on a remote xubuntu machine
setup Skype on Monday.
Please add your comments to the feature request, in order to fast-track
the addition of this feature - that's if you agree of course ;)
