Xffm-samba is also a good candidate (available in universe).

Xffm really isn't too user friendly and its ui is a little un-uniform with
the rest of Xubuntu, I do like the idea of fusesmb though.

Menubar like in Gnome (Apps/Places/System) instead of simple menu
(Applications)

I like this for the concept of ubuntu uniformity and i think people will
enjoy it, I think the only thing we would have to do is make a config file
for each "Xfce Menu" added to the panel and just leave the application menu
as the one that gets edited via package managers installing apps ... but i
might be a little off base with this idea of implementation.

I would also like to bring up the idea of the Xubuntu-Welcome-Center in this
conversation for feisty. For those who are unaware: Cody, Radomir, and
myself have been working in collaboration of this project and would like to
see it make its way into Feisty. Here is the wiki
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Xubuntu/Specifications/Feisty/XubuntuWelcomeCenter...
all other links needed are located on the wiki.

Update-notifier to be included by default.
