The guy claims that booting up the Gimp takes 1 minute on his computer
with 1gig processor. This is ridiculous. My computer has 900mgh
processor and 526 ram and the gimp boots up about 6 seconds.


I've got half a gig of ram and it takes quite a long time (probably also
about a minute) too. Not that it's unbearable (if I work with the GIMP, I
work with it for a while) and it's by far the most feature-rich.

But nice review, the first one mailed to this mailinglist I hadn't already
seen ;)
