Nope, I've been complaining about gnome-libs since day 1 but I do understand
and respect why logically and for all practical purposes they are sometimes
unavoidable. One of the reasons I believe they can not be avoided is simply
because we lack developers, to my knowledge we now have 2 core devs working
on Xubuntu which is not many and therefore they need to devote their time to
things of priority such as stability of the distro as a whole and not so
much re-inventing the wheel so that its lighter and faster. Don't get me
wrong, I am all for light and fast but sometimes it is just not logical.
