I could not find in the mailman interface a way of customizing the auto-reply content for unsubscribed posters, so by default they are told to wait because their mails are waiting for moderation. Which is a lie, I haven't been tending to those duties for a long time. The reason is I could not get addresses blacklisted and most spam comes from the same ones.
