Acabo de recibir la notificación del lanzamiento del alpha 2 del
Xubuntu 12.04
Trabajo con Xubuntu 11.10 desde que me pasé desde Ubuntu 10.04
Ghone Clasic.
Mi consulta es :
¿Debo quemar un CD para instalar alpha 2?
o, ¿Ya me llegará a su tiempo a través del "Gestor de actualizaciones?

The Xubuntu team is proud to announce the Alpha2 release of
Xubuntu 12.04, Precise Pangolin!
Updates for this release include:
* New greeter + theme
* xfdesktop4 has been updated to support single click to open
items, thumbnail support for the desktop.
* xfce4-settings has been updated to include the new
mouche/touchpad dialog (backported from 4.9.x)
* Some other syncs, updates and patches from Debian and
upstream, including: xfce4-power-manager, Ristretto and
gmusicbrowser
* Minor updates to default settings and packages, mostly
appearance (including Terminal font size change)

Hola Jaume, te explico, podes intentar instalar la version alpha2 de
xubuntu 12.04 precise pangolin quemando un cd, si, pero no deberias
hacerlo para una maquina que uses con regularidad, no es lo
suficientemente estable, de ahi el alpha. Te recomiendo
encarecidamente que esperes a la publicacion oficial de xubuntu
precise pangolin a mediados de abril, de ahi el 12.04, será mucho mas
seguro de esa forma.
si tenes alguna duda podes preguntar de nuevo o entrar al canal de
#xubuntu en irc.freenode.net <http://irc.freenode.net>, ten en cuanta
que tanto esta lista de correo como los canales son casi
exclusivamente en ingles, pero estas invitado a pasar por ahi, si
estoy presente te puedo prestar toda la ayuda que sea capas.
