The problems that I used to have with Xfburn on some hardware, appear to be solved by the new release of Xfburn that its developer David Mohr has done yesterday: version 0.5.0. Yay! http://git.xfce.org/apps/xfburn/
Hopefully it'll be included in Xubuntu 14.04 LTS. :-) Regards, Pjotr. 2014-01-26 20:36 GMT+01:00 Liviu Andronic <[email protected]>: > On Sun, Jan 12, 2014 at 1:21 PM, Sean Davis <[email protected]> > wrote: > > Xfburn is basically the only remaining utility that works perfectly for > > burning CDs or DVD-Rs for me. > > > The reliability of Xfburn is likely due to its relying on the > non-controversial libburnia libraries. > > As for Brasero (on Debian and Ubuntu), the varying levels of > reliability may be down to its depending (via brasero-cdrkit) on the > controversial 'wodim' (which is a fork of 'cdrtools').
