Hi,
I'm Kamil from Poland and I want to introduce myself. I'm a beginner
software engineer with no professional experience, but I've done some
projects on my own.
I want to show my willingness to help the xubuntu team. I'm mainly
interested in software part of the project, so I think I could start
with fixing some bugs or writing new software. I can even make some
translations to polish.
I think it would be great opportunity for me to learn new things and
make the xubutu even better, so let me know if I can be useful ;)
Cheers,
Kamil
Hey Kamil,
and thanks for your interest!
All help is useful. The best way to start helping with programming on an
open source project is to fix bugs that annoy you personally.
As most of the team uses IRC actively, joining our development channel
#xubuntu-devel (on the Freenode IRC network) is likely the fastest way
to get to know people and get in the loop. Welcome!
Looking forwards to hear more from you.
Cheers,
Pasi
