Sorry, I didn't see an Xubuntu developper saw this. The 2 behaviours can be justified (Not mounted when system boots - mounts when used OR Automount when plugged) and Thunar can do both : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Thunar
I really think "Automount when plugged" is the most convenient way and like Cavsfan said it was like that before. I can't test on a hard install but I just tested in a VM and it's still the "right" behaviour "Automount when plugged". So it seems that there is no problem after all. I just hope that will be the same behaviour on a hard install. 2015-09-26 18:26 GMT+02:00 <[email protected]>: > On 26/09/15 12:14, jeremy wrote: > > Xubuntu user Cavsfan found that external USB drive does not seems to > automount in 15.10. > I can't test for now so if someone can confirm or discard it, it will be > great. > > http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2295804 > > Thank you. > > > It's been seen (and posted in btw) > > Seems normal behaviour to me. > > Not mounted when system boots - mounts when used. > > > > -- > xubuntu-devel mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/xubuntu-devel > >
