I have had no problem in the past installing onto even quite old kit (7-8 years and more) but 15.10 seems to have chosen the scenic route. > Not a good start for someone who is new to Linux. No, indeed. I think perhaps the developers are using much faster boxes and may perhaps have neglected to provide for the new user with older equipment.
