Dear All, Recently there appears to have been an update on both Windows *AND* on Xubuntu which has simply stopped my being able to connect to the internet via the old Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG boards on the two near identical old Toshiba laptops which are my pride and joy.
I felt sure the problem was the driver updates and, on forcing my Windows (XP) version to revert to the previous driver, all is well and I'm back in contact with the hub. How do I achieve the same reversion to previous driver on Xubuntu and prevent it from automatically updating again to the non-running drivers? I love these old machines and have no wish to go to a more modern machine, so please don't tell me to buy a more modern machine, because I'm not going to! Please instead explain how I revert to the previous (working) driver in Xubuntu. Regards and thanks in anticipation. David Walland
