Hello Everyone
I am currently testing Xubuntu 16.04 and have the kernel
4.4.0-18-generic installed. I've noticed that after the kernel update
my mouse dissapears everytime I suspend my computer or close the lid
and then try to get back into the system. So far the only solution I
have to this is to Logoff the machine and log back in.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes others are having the same issue. (Possibly
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=815135)
I've successfully got cursor back with a switch out of vt7 and then back
e.g. Ctrl+Alt+F1 then CVtrl+Alt+F7
Please respond on the LP bug.
thanks
