Hi Xubuntu, So, first, what is the name of the GUI element that exists along the very top of the screen?
Each element seems to be an application, or maybe a top-level window in an application. I'm calling it a menu-bar, but i think that i'm totally wrong with my words, but i don't really know what else to call it. Anyhow, i have a problem with it. I want to arrange the icons in a different order. Not forever, but just for a few hours, when i'll want to drag them to some other order. But when i try to drag them, or control-drag them, or shift-drag them, or alt-drag them, they remain firmly planted where they are. (They seemed to be grouped by application, and for the particular move i want to make, i wouldn't even disrupt that grouping. But i can't even move one of the icons one slot over.)
