Indeed, its the building block for the PPC versions of ubuntu (and all versions of ubuntu really).
But, as flash is NOT open-sourced, its availability turns on what Adobe does in compiling flash into binaries. Adobe stopped a while ago in providing PPC versions of flash. So, there simply is not one available except for very old versions that probably have too many security holes to allow for actual use. In short, while Linux on PPC remains viable right now, flash on PPC is not. take care, Victor PS-One of my projects when I have the time is to resurrect an old G4 laptop with debian or xubuntu linux. From what I have researched, there are issues with flash, sound, and wifi on PPC. Flash is the only one that cannot be resolved. -- -- Victor Forberger [email protected] blog: http://linuxatty.wordpress.com
