I had similar problems and fixed them creating
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf with this:

Section "Device"
   Identifier  "Intel Graphics"
   Driver      "intel"
   Option      "AccelMethod"  "uxa"
EndSection
