First, it appears that you have a dependency error. So, try

$ sudo apt-get check

to check for those errors. And, FYI, typing --help at the end of any
terminal command usually produces helpful info about that command. For
example:

Second, the software updater error you list here and describe in another
e-mail message is probably related to Opera and has nothing to do with
WPS (they are just occurring at the same time).

For some reason, in its latest update Opera changed the name of its
source file by leaving off a letter in the source file. So, a security
error has been created with the link to the repository. Downloads to
that repository will no longer work.

The quick solution is to de-select that repository by going to Settings
Manager | Software & Updates, clicking on the Other Software tab, and
then unchecking the box for Opera.

The fix for future Opera downloads is an open-ended question. That is,
Opera has to do something, and I don't know yet what Opera will do.

The reason I know about this Opera error: I use Opera and have seen this
same error.

Third, the WPS dependency conflict can be quite complicated. The error
could be because WPS requires a library file that has been deprecated
(i.e., no longer supported). Manually installing older, unsupported
files can be a problem. To see how I dealt with this issue involving
another app that I use on a daily basis, see my post about 18.04 at
https://linuxatty.wordpress.com/2018/05/04/xubuntu-18-04-bionic-beaver-released/
(options to get pdftk to work despite deprecated libraries). I chose the
download and install older binaries option, as the library at issue was
just missing in 18.04.
