The answer may depend on your display manager. in xfce4, the properties of the various displays may be set in your .config directory. There, under /xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/, you should find a file "displays.xml" that contains the settings. In a terminal you can edit this file to have the desired resolution.
I assume that other display managers have something similar. HTH, Nino On 5/1/19 7:52 AM, Roy Davison wrote:
Friends, When I tested the onCD trial of Xubuntu 18.04 it operated my Amilo-Pro V2030 at 1024x768 resolution. After I installed the program, however, it would only operate at "Default" 640x480. Under Display/Settings this was the only option listed, so it cannot be changed there. How can I get the installed version to operate at 1024x768 like the CD version does? Sincerely, Roy Davison
