Hi Chris As I mentioned I am only using the hotspot for file transfer, so, as I only have a single wifi interface, I disable the connection to my router when using the hotspot. However, I have a spare USB wifi dongle which I have connected for a test. The hotspot works fine through this dongle while the connection to the router is maintained through the built-in wifi interface. I can connect to the internet from another computer via the hotspot. From what you have said I would query whether you have two wifi interfaces or an interface that supports two connections?
