18.04 was the last release that supported running independent desktop sessions (separate desktop, panel and window manager) on multiple monitors. This has not worked in 18.10, 19.04 or 19.10 which I am currently running. This configuration has been described as "Zaphod Head" mode. Can anyone verify whether this has been fixed in this release?
I have two 4K monitors attached to an Nvidia K4000 GPU. The current configuration spans the xfce4 desktop across the two monitors, but I would like to restore independents between them so that I can switch the workspace on one monitor without changing the other. If anyone is curious about this bug, it was reported and discussed here: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15116 Thanks.
