The driver compilation does not require (directly) Python 3. The issue is with the `apt-offline` command that was deprecated along with Python 2. Having that utility would have allowed me to install packages that are needed to compile the driver. But now that you've mentioned it, perhaps there is work going on to port `apt-offline` to Python 3. I'll look around. Cheers, Earl
