Doing a Google search for your laptop shows that originally, the Yoga models were NOT compatible with LINUX. https://www.pcworld.com/article/410965/after-protest-lenovo-brings-linux-compatibility-to-yoga-900-and-900s.html Lenovo did subsequently come out with a BIOS update which was optional.
