Hello,

I just installed linux on a I5 mac (2012, now with 16gb memory)..

Now I cannot delete mails, there is no delete button, and when searching internet, they say, the backspace will work as delete, but not in thunderbird ...

To work fast, I need a button to throw mails away ...

Thanks,
Marc

Can you provide details about the OS and the machine and Thunderbird?

For the OS and the machine, from the terminal try:

$inxi -b

For thunderbird, try

$ thunderbird --version

root@MacBookPro:/home/marc# inxi -b

Thanks!

PS- Option backspace usually works for delete on Mac keyboards.

fn backspace seems to work, but ... obviuosly ... "del" or "single hit" is better.

PPS- if you are using Thunderbird 115, I have noticed chrome problems that a quit and restart will cure for a while. If I get my workload above quicksand, I will file a bug report with the Thunderbird 115 folks.
