I run Xubuntu 24.04.2 up-to-date on my desktop host machine. When I install from the latest Xubuntu ISO file (xubuntu-24.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso) in VirtualBox, it always does this odd behavior:
First boot after install - succeed and immediately logs out. Second login (and after, I think) works fine. Any suggestions? It's consistent and somewhat irritating.
