Copy of the firefox settings for your snap installation to a ~/.mozilla
location. Then you should have your passwords from one installation
available to the other.
The two folders will not be in sync with each other. But, you will have
your passwords, etc from one installation to the other.
But, before you do anything, check the config location for each
installation by looking at the location of your profile directory under
Help | More troubleshooting information.

Unfortunately, this gives probs with versions of ff.
I installed the same version form the website of ff (147.0.1), and now
things start to work again ...
Of course, have to set standard browser again ... $HOME/firefox/firefox
