Hello, Wolfgang Schmidetzki writes in the XUL Planet forum post (slightly edited for clarity): There are not enough articles about XUL. And that's the most frustrating roadblock you will face when you start learning XUL. XUL is a brilliant technology enabling you to write state of the art UI applications using a tag based layout language (XUL) together with Javascript for scripting. But: XUL is still "The 'Net's Biggest Secret" (Harry Fuecks on sitepoint.com). And one of the reasons for that is the lack of documentation.
Therefore I decided to write this article about my personal XUL experience in order to share with others what I've learned: Part 1 - Handling the security restrictions - online @ http://www2.schmidetzki.net/WebGatePublisher/schmidetzki/html/default/jjar-5vlrn7.de.0 Part 2 - Finding RDF-resources from a tree selection - online @ http://www2.schmidetzki.net/WebGatePublisher/schmidetzki/html/default/webb-5vlvqm.de.0 I hope the articles will help you ... more will follow. - Gerald ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
