I understand that LinkedIn is a commercial service as some of you have pointed out and, thus, you can't trust their privacy policy and you'll never know for sure how they will abuse your data in the future to turn a profit. Anyway, if you're new to the xul-announce list and wonder what this is all about. It looks like the Linkedin service hides the mail address so they can charge you for the referal. Let me know if it's in your interest to share your mail address with those who signed up.
