Hello, The SVG Open 2004 paper titled "SVG-Based User Interface Framework" by Alastair Fettes and Philip Mansfield is now online detailing how you can build a Windows-like widget toolkit using SVG.
The paper summary states: The purpose of the SPARK project is to create a flexible, interoperable SVG-based user interface framework.
