Hello, IBM has posted the IBM Forms for Mobile Devices package on the alphaWorks site.
What is IBM Forms for Mobile Devices? IBM Forms for Mobile Devices is a Java distributed software solution that, using XForms (a W3C standard for forms definition), enables pervasive mobile devices to access and complete business forms. This solution allows developers to quickly create, deploy, and use forms-based applications. The software demonstrates the ability of intermittently connected mobile devices to access and complete business forms that are stored locally on the mobile device. The completed forms are transferred to a server for additional processing when connectivity is available. Now a new wish has popped up, but I'm not sure whether it actual can be = done. I have a number of procedures in Oracle, and I would like to use these. = I guess there is no problem using these if I only send values with them = and don't expect any values back. But can I in anyway get a value back = using some kind of _ByRef_ parameter ? Here is an example of the declaration of such a procedure in Oracle: CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE CMIS_INS_IFE (P_ID OUT CMIS_INTERFACE.ID%TYPE ,P_PSE_ID IN CMIS_INTERFACE.PSE_ID%TYPE ,P_OS_USER IN OUT CMIS_INTERFACE.OS_USER%TYPE ,P_ORACLE_USER IN OUT CMIS_INTERFACE.ORACLE_USER%TYPE ,P_MACHINE IN OUT CMIS_INTERFACE.MACHINE%TYPE ,P_TERMINAL IN OUT CMIS_INTERFACE.TERMINAL%TYPE ,P_CALLING_PROGRAM IN CMIS_INTERFACE.CALLING_PROGRAM%TYPE ,P_TARGET_PROGRAM IN CMIS_INTERFACE.TARGET_PROGRAM%TYPE ,P_RESULT IN CMIS_INTERFACE.RESULT%TYPE ,P_COMMENTS IN CMIS_INTERFACE.COMMENTS%TYPE ) As you can see the first parameter is defined as OUT and is therefor = used for giving back a value. But the normal way of calling these would be using Server_Execute() = which sends a string to the datbase server to be executed, and I can't = see how I can send a variable to be filled in this way: szCmdStr =3D "begin CMIS.CMIS_INS_IFE" & "(nID" & ",5107" & ",'PEM'" & ",'CMIS'" & ",'PC15137'" & ",'PC15137'" & ",'.NET'" & ",'MapInfow'" & ",NULL" & ",'No comment'); end;" Print szCmdStr nHstm =3D Server_Execute(nConnection, szCmdStr) Print "nID: " & nID Server nHstm Close When doing so, Oracle - of course - tells me that NID (my variable) not = has been declared. My first stab at Tomcat 5.5 is on Windows. Anyway, was looking at the files for the tar.gz release of the admin tools. Verify that you do indeed have a conf\Catalina\localhost\admin.xml (double check file permissions as well) This is what re-maps requests for /admin to \server\webapps\admin. To me, it does not appear to have a proper context path specified? Is the context mapping assumed? Based on the name of the file? If required? Modify conf\Catalina\localhost\admin.xml with a path, like so; <Context docBase=3D"${catalina.home}/server/webapps/admin" = path=3D"/admin"=20 privileged=3D"true" antiResourceLocking=3D"false" antiJARLocking=3D"false"> </Context> This should override the generic page in \webapps\ROOT\admin\ -----Original Message----- From: Kelly, Steve [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 10, 2004 2:52 PM To: Tomcat Users List Subject: RE: Tomcat Administration Application James, I'm on RedHat Linux V9. Are you walking through Hits properly (i.e. hits.doc(i), i is the i-th hit, not document id i)? What version of Lucene are you using? Sorry - figured I'd rattle off some standard troubleshooting questions :) > FYI, the docs corresponding to hits 1,2 and 3 have exactly the same > scoring fields(By scoring fields, I mean the fields used in the query). Use the IndexSearcher.explain() feature to get the real scoop on why a score is computed the way it is. It might be a surprise to you where I got your contact address; I got it from the net. Don’t be worried because I am contacting you in good faith. During the current crisis against the farmers of Zimbabwe by the supporters of our President Robert Mugabe to claim all the white owned farms in our country, he ordered all the white farmers to surrender their farms to his party members and their followers .My stepfather was one of the best farmers in the country and knowing that he did not support the President political ideology, the president supporters invaded my father's farm and burnt down everything, killed him and confiscated all his investments. After the death of my stepfather, my mother and I with my younger sister decided to move out of Zimbabwe for the safety of our lives. We took along with us the money my step-father kept in the safe in my mother's house which amounted to the sum of US$8 MILLION DOLLARS to the Republic of South Africa where we have deposited it as personal valuables in a private Security Company for safekeeping. Because of our present status (Political Refugees), my mother and I are seriously looking forward to having an overseas partner that will assist us with the convenient and legal transfer of the funds out of South Africa For detailed information, you can contact me on my direct Email :[EMAIL PROTECTED]) otherwise i will not recieve it.
