Hello,

  Following the example of the UserLinux project that
puts together a new 100 % Free Software Linux distro I
suggest creating a XUL Player matrix similar to the
UserLinux Web Browser matrix online @
http://userlinux.com/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Browser_Matrix

  As a first step let's collect possible categories
(evaluation criteria). Here's a first list:

     Basic Information
     -----------------

     * Current Release Version
     * License
     * Disk Footprint (in Megabytes)

     Technical Information
     ---------------------

     * Widget Set (e.g. SWT, Swing, Gtk+, Qt, etc.)
     * CSS Support
     * Scripting Support (e.g. Javascript, Python,
Groovy, Beanshell, etc.)
     * SVG Support
     * Form Submission Support (e.g. XForms, HTML
Forms-like, etc.)
     * Web Services Support (e.g. XML-RPC)
     * Static Template Support (e.g. XSL/T, Velocity,
Portlets, etc.)
     * Dynamic (Live) Template Support (e.g.
Databinding)
     * Internationalization Support (e.g. String
Tables)
     * Chrome Protocol Support (URL handler) (e.g
chrome://)
     * Plugin Support

     Other
     -----

     * Supported Operating Systems
     * Notes & Comments

     Let me know what you think and what criteria to
add or change.

     - Gerald

PS: How about adding a widget support table like:

     Widgets Tags
     ------------
     * tree
     * wizard/wizardpage
     * treetable
     * datagrid
     * tabbox
     * and so on

   Any thoughts?
