Hello, has anyone tried out C. N. Medappa's new JRex v1.0a package that lets you use Mozilla inside Java applications?
According to the JRex project page the plugin offers * Webpage Rendering * Navigation * History * Profile and Preferences. * Edit Operations (Cut, Copy, Paste etc) * Print Operations * Support for XUL * Direct integration of Input Event's [Mouse and Key Event] with java. * Build in Event Manager support, making adding new event's capability is easy. * Easy to use, developer need not know much of Mozilla details. The effective line of code for simple use is not more than three lines. * Compatible with Java AWT and Swing. * built-in support for tabbed browsing. You can find out more about JRex @ http://jrex.mozdev.org Has anyone tried out any alternative APIs or packages that let you add the Mozilla layout engine (Gecko) to your own apps? - Gerald ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
