Hello,
Hello,
For some fresh insight about what's holding Mozilla XUL back I've created a new online poll over at the mozilla-xul Yahoo! Group asking: What do you think would most encourage more usage of Mozilla XUL?
The multiple choices include:
o A Mozilla XUL specification
Spécifications are at http://www.xulplanet.com
o A Mozilla XUL IDE
That's right :-(
o Endorsement by a standards organization
why not ! :-)
o More documentation
http://www.xulplanet.com again. documentation are complete now.
But you're right : documentation in french are not enough ;-)
o More powerful and extensible tags and widgets
why ? XBL is not enough ?
o Proper support for Python, Perl, Ruby, etc...
well..
o Other (Please post your comments to the list)
o more respect from other about the name of their technologies ;-)
Again today, in Xulfr mailing-list, a beginner was disturbed by the use of the "XUL" acronym anywhere on xul.sourceforge.net. he think that you talk about the XUL of Mozilla into your site even though it's not the case. Another victim of the confusion that you spread.
