Hello,

  Bjorn Martensson has collected a list of XML UI
language formats for Swing in the blog story entitled
"Java UI Separation: XML GUI Languages for SWING".

  The usual suspect include:

  * Jazilla
  * Luxor
  * SwiXml
  * Jelly
  * XUI

  Lesser known project listed include:

  * CookXml
  * Sulu
  * Rib
  * Xulux
  * and many more

  In the section titled "Reasons for keeping UI
declarations in XML" Bjorn writes:

   * Changing of GUI without recompile
     o End users can move around fields and buttons
etc.
     o End users can add fields/buttons etc. without
business logic behind, and then email it to the
developer, to explain requested features.
  * Portability of GUI across different programming
languages.

on?" online @
