Hello!
I've recently been playing with XUL and gecko, and have hit a small
stumbling block, namely understanding the security manager. I've been unable
to find documentation on this, anyone care to point me in the right
direction? I've hit "Security manager vetoed action" exception a few times
from privileged code, when trying to override native methods/properties.
Perhaps that's just not possible? I wanted to call
__defineSetter__('href',..) on window.location but couldn't delete the
property first as required. Then separately attempting to delete
browser.contentWindow.open raises the exception, although in this case you
can override it but that doesn't appear to do anything...
Thanks,
Tony Morgan
