Ok no problem... I am very good in FreeBSD, so I can make it work and than contribute to the opensolaris community. I need some direction here, that is: FreeBSD have "ports" collection, a directory with almost 20000 ports, all you have to do is to jump in the directory (or make a new one) and setup the Makefile. than a command "make" makes the package. (simple like that...) Arch Linux have the same idea... it is called ABS. Is there something in opensolaris (a search in google for "opensolaris ports" returns no direction). In freebsd everything is installed in /usr/local , is there a "recipe" for opensolaris??? please point me to some direction.... Thanks in advance, Sergio -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
