FOX is the Fully-Open X project - a project gate derived from the Nevada
X gate, with many more of the open source components of the X.Org added.

While we're still working through the process of comparing each component
in the Nevada gate against the current X.Org release to determine what we
need to do to switch to the current X.Org version [1], the FOX gate allowed
us to bootstrap Indiana with known open-source/redistributable versions of
the software. FSW* are the packages Moinak created to deliver the FOX gate
bits that didn't match existing SUNW* packages - right now Indiana only ships
FSWxorg-fonts in the whole - it pulls bits from others to replace missing bits
in SUNW* packages. Our goal is to eventually not need any FSW* packages
because we'll have rebuilt all the SUNW* packages out of open bits.

[1] The Nevada X gate was originally based on X11R6.0 and diverged over time,
so we need to make sure we've fed any Sun-created changes upstream, haven't
gotten any non-open-source code into the Sun versions, and determine whether
any upstream changes require ARC review for us to switch to them.
