Hi,

I have several PC servers, which I primarily administer through serial
console lines. However, all of them are connected to a rackmount
KVM/LCD/Keyboard unit.

For some reason, if the KVM is directed to a server when it boots, the
Xserver picks the right frequency for the LCD, and I can switch away
from and back to that server anytime I want.

On the other hand, if the server boots when another server is selected
on the KVM, the Xserver defaults to some frequency that the LCD can't
support.
(This is bad because it hangs the LCD and KVM, and everythign stops
working and needs to be power cycled - I know, I know, get a new KVM,
LCD, etc... I wish!)

So my questions are:

1) How can I figure out what the config is when I have one of the
servers working corectly with the LCD?

2) Where do I enter that info to force the Xserver to use it all the
time no matter what it thinks is right when it starts up?
