We hope so, but there's no one working on most of them at the moment.

It's been in hibernation for the last year and a half or so.   The big problem
to be solved for enabling graphical boot is what to do when something goes
wrong and you need to go back to a text console to fsck your UFS filesystem or
otherwise fix a failure.   Resolution is of course limited by the VGA/VESA
standard modes.
