You would need to set CFLAGS to "-m64" or "-xarch=v9" when calling the configure script, and set PKG_CONFIG_PATH to "/usr/lib/64/pkgconfig/", but the Intel team has recommended to us that we not try to use their newer drivers with older Xserver & Mesa builds - we had to revert the xf86-video-intel back from 2.2.1 to 2.1.1 in Nevada build 87 and the Indiana RC2 builds because it didn't work well with the Mesa 6.5.2 version of OpenGL. We won't be moving to xf86-video-intel in Solaris or OpenSolaris until we move to Xorg 1.5 and the associated Mesa 7.0.x release (which should hopefully be sometime in the next few months, but Xorg 1.5 seems to be slipping from the original early May release plan). -- -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersmith at sun.com Sun Microsystems, Inc. - X Window System Engineering
