As for Volari chips, I've seen a few of them in the retail stores and now that these were used as alternate 3D chips for thin clients/desktop computers. From the local overseas market, these seem like a choice for servers if not the SiS/VIA chips.
Since they are in the portfolio of the Xorg 7.2+ device drivers list, I can't see why we shouldn't add them in... :o) This message posted from opensolaris.org
