Pretty much everything in /usr/openwin/bin is planned to be replaced with
the latest X.org versions (and moved to /usr/X11/bin in the process), we
just can't do everything at once. You can look in /usr/X11/bin (or at
the symlinks in /usr/openwin/bin) to see how far we've gotten. If there's
specific bits like xset you'ld like to see first, file RFE's at
bugs.opensolaris.org. Otherwise, I've been doing them as needed to fix
bugs or integrate with other needed changes. (For instance, I'll probably
do the font utilities next as part of the process of purging the closed
source TrueType engine so we can make our Xorg packages re-distributable.)
Of course the FOX-gate will have all these built for OpenSolaris as well
once Moinak merges in the work he's done there for Belenix & Indiana.
