There had also been another stopper: A function prototype versus definition conflict in a header file included via two other header files. It prevented the server from being built in circa 30 cases. I worked around this by moving two or three header files to a local place into sun-src (where the symlinks in tsol and Xext are created against).
Also the fact, that the newer rev drivers enable --enable-dri in auto mode now. This proved to be a problem, as I continue to activate full dri support for building the server. Therefore autodetection of the dri-aware drivers puts dri on now. Which currently doesn't work out of the box: Linker flags are missing and not set by default. If I add them manually for each driver (libdrm and libdri), I still end up in getting two missing symbols from libdri.so . I therefore temporarily disabled dri for the drivers (Makefile.inc in driver folder). Even the sunffb driver has dri stubs now. :-) But all that is a moving target. However, I am optimistic we might get looking glass or Compiz going also on 1GHz++ SPARC machines with XVR-100 or maybe even ffb / afb. regards Martin Bochnig Alan Coopersmith wrote: > Martin Bochnig wrote: > > Q: Does the tsol subdir build flawlessly on any > x86-SXCR?
