If you still have the 1.0-9629 NVIDIA driver loaded, please do: # update_drv -a -i '"pci10de,242"' nvidia # reboot The 1.0-9629 driver does not create a driver alias for this chip. The 1.0-9637 driver, destined to be bundled in Solaris real soon, doesn't either so you will need to repeat the above command after every install. The 1.0-9755 driver creates an alias for this device.
