I have been running Nevada builds 55 and 56 in Parallels on a Mac PowerBook Pro
with the attached xorg.conf file with no problems since each of those builds
were made available. I have used this configuration file to get both 1440x900
at 74Hz and 1280x1024 with no problem.

Yesterday, I installed build 57 (with quite some difficulty unrelated to Xorg).
It seems however that my xorg.conf file that had worked previously now no
longer works. The window system fails to come up. Worse than that, the window
system exits back to a command line login but the terminal emulation has been
corrupted and I am unable to execute any commands to correct the situation.

I have attached my /var/dt/Xerrors and /var/log/Xorg.0.log files as well as a
screen shot showing
the terminal emulation problems that I am seeing. Please let me know if there
is any other data that you need.

Not sure if it matters, but I am using the latest Parallels build (3150,
released February 1, 2007).
This build runs Nevada build 56 with no problem. One other thing. I am not
sure if it is related to this or not, but when I attempt to change screen
resolutions in Gnome (in build 56), the windowing manager dies and restarts.
This happens for stock build 56 and build 56 with TX enabled.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Glenn
