Yeah, the seamless window is a must for published apps... or so i believe it 
makes life easier.
Well, that made me try the JICA client, and I must say, it works great 
(seamless windows, fast although that is subjective, and it doesn't crash on me 
like the 3.x client), i'm using it in an unsupported way, which is locally. You 
may have better luck in convincing your IT support into implementing it.
