Thanks. I will get an X550 card. This appears to be the "highest level/number" Radeon chipset without the need for a fan (& is very reasonably priced). I am building an AM2/ATI based Solaris machine (First time ever use a desktop ATI card--always nVidia). Any suggestion will be appreciated. Comparing SX 22 to 44 (anything b/y 44 is a little bit experimental at the present), the progress of Solaris is truly b/y belief. It's time for the world to wake and smell the coffee!
