A wiki at genunix should be useful. Here are some ideas:
1) Common Xorg problems and how to tackle them.
2) A repository of pre-canned xorg configs for various boxes for use
with Solaris.
3) Tips and Tricks and nifty driver-specific features that can
get overlooked.
4) How to make sense of the Xorg log file - describe the various
sections in general terms.
5) How to add custom hooks for the getconfig.pl script.
6) Building Xorg on Solaris howto: building using gcc, using Studio,
host.def configurations.
7) The complete directory tree of a typical installed Xorg build under
/usr/X11 with one-line descriptions for each directory and file.
8) Differences between Solaris Xorg and Xorg built from the standard
sources.
9) A list of display cards supported on Solaris via Xorg grouped by
vendor.
10) 3D Acceleration info for Solaris. Links to Nvidia's docs and
driver page. Info on Solaris DRI port, when it becomes available.
I can initiate the wiki page.
