Niveditha,

I would like to do that but right now I can't. I only have one machine and I'm
in kindofa time critical crunch on something at the moment.

I couldn't afford to sit around and hope that this gets resolved quickly so I
threw a copy of Open Solaris 200906 on the machine just to get going again
quickly. I'm currently downloading the version of Open Solaris that is based
on build 117 and on Friday or Saturday I'll have the time luxury to fire it up
and see what happens. At that point if it fails I'll post the log file.

If it doesn't fail then I'll grab 117 again and try it and see what happens.

I don't think it's an X issue as X boots but the fonts are really weird on the
logon screen. After I get logged in then it switches to a black screen with
the watch and just sits there. I tried it as a regular user and as root and it
got stuck in the exact same place. So X does come up but somewhere between
logging in and getting to the actual desktop screen somethings goes wrong.

I'll post more later on this week.

Thanks,
alan
