(MailingList-Archives && Jive-archives && my own Inbox) are rarely
immediately in sync, sometimes never get at all.
This experience applies to xwin-discuss just as much as to all the other
opensol lists, especially, and most notably, when I send out a message
from a Mail client, maybe it has to do with my primary address mb1x gmx
com being listed on some international SPAM blacklist(s)?
Sometimes my list mails appear to hang in some queue for up to half a day.

That's in fact the main reason, why I normally exclusively post via the
Jive forums. Then I would definitely get my msg. into the forum, into
the archives plus would myself get it being sent back to the address I
had provided during subscription (normally also mb1x gmx com).
I hardly trust email as means of communication anymore. Spammers seem to
be abusing my address for their Sender's field. Not to mention the 70 to
120 SPAM mails addressed to me being filtered out by my ISP every day.
Alan, that's one of the reasons I had suggested Facebook as a more
reliable means (though you had never sent me the CONFIRM msg. I had
requested 3 or so weeks ago). Whether I would receive a confirmation
mail or not, just checking Facebook's Inbox every day suffices.

So, and now especially to what I had done differently today: Since about
20 hours I had once again used Thunderbird, not Jive. And as I myself
did get back my own list messages, I had to expect everybody else had
also recived them. Not so??
Thanks for pointing this out.

I will *exclusively* use Jive from now on.
