Introduction 1.1. Project/Component Working Name: FreeType move from /usr/sfw to /usr 1.2. Name of Document Author/Supplier: Author: Alan Coopersmith 1.3 Date of This Document: 20 November, 2007 4. Technical Description I am sponsoring this case for myself and marking it Closed Approved Automatic, following the precedent of many of the other recent cases moving out of /usr/sfw. This case requests Patch binding, though it has no plans at this time to integrate into a Patch release. This case moves the FreeType library and associated files delivered by the X Consolidation in the SUNWfreetype package from /usr/sfw to /usr. This library was introduced by LSARC 2002/291, and has since been updated by LSARC 2003/400, 2004/658 & 2005/397. The API's provided by the library remain classified External (now Volatile). Symbolic links from the old location will be left for backwards compatibility.
