Depends on what you mean by well supported - there is no
3D hardware acceleration for them in Solaris x86 (yet) and we're
reliant on the open source drivers and community for bug fixes.
If you want 3D hardware acceleration and a support path going
back to the hardware vendor, nvidia is the way to go on Solaris
for now.
